Where are you located?
We hold all practices and home games at Mundy Memorial Park which is located at 300 Mundy Memorial Dr, Mt Juliet, TN, 37122.
What are your office hours?
Because MJYFC is completely run by volunteers, there is not a staffed office. We do check email frequently and generally have someone in the office on practice nights and occassionally on game days.
How can I get involved?
We are always looking for volunteers! If you wish to volunteer whether it be as a coach, board member, committee member or just general park upkeep, please email the league at email@example.com or feel free to reach out to any board member. Additionally, we encourage and welcome the members of our community to attend the Board of Directors meetings. These are held the first Wednesday of each month in the office above concessions at Mundy Memorial Park. Additional details can be found in the News section of this website.
How can I sponsor MJYFC?
There is no better way to advertise your business than through a tax deductible donation. MJYFC is a 501(c)(3) organization. No matter the size of your business, we have a sponsorship package designed to fit your needs. For additional details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What are the age group break downs and divisions?
There are four divisions for tackle football as follows:
Age is determined as of July 31st of the current year.
What is the player registration fee?
The cost for tackle football is $160.
What is included in the player registration fee include?
Game jersey (issued once the child is placed on a team)
Use of a league issued helmet (must be returned at season end)
How can I pay my fees?
Our registration website (http://mjyfci.siplay.com/site/) accepts Visa or Mastercard.
We can accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash if paying in person at the field or at an in-store fitting.
We do not accept checks.
What is not included in the player registration fee?
Game pants (must be black) with pads

Practice Jersey (any color is acceptable)
What is the evaluation process?
We spend the first two weeks observing and evaluating the basic skills of each player. Most age groups will be broken into several smaller groups within the first few days to allow for better observation. Several coaches will be observing the players during this time. Decisions as to what team your child will be assigned to in his or her age group is based on athletic ability, size, experience and desire to play. This process allows for children to play against other children with their same ability, size and experience level. By the end of the two weeks, your child will be assigned to a permanent team. In 2018, this will be the weeks of July 16th and July 23rd.
With this procedure we cannot guarantee that your child will be playing on a team with his friends & family or his favorite coaches. Please be patient as the evaluation process takes place and if you have any questions or concerns we ask that you talk with the head coach working with your child.
Why is there an evaluation process?
Firstly, it is required that all TNYFL communities hold evaluations. For specifics, please refer to the TNYFL Play Rules and Procedures. Secondly, this is for the safety and enjoyment of your child. A child playing on a level that is too high or too low can lead to an unsatifactory season.
What are the practices times and location?
All practices are located at Mundy Memorial Park which is located at 300 Mundy Drive, Mt Juliet, TN 37122. During the first two weeks of evaluations, practice days are Monday through Friday and the times are 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Once the two weeks of evaluations is complete, all teams will practice Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm for the remainder of the season.
When and where are the games played?
Games are played on Saturdays. The full schedule for the season can be found by going to the Tackle Football link on this website. Specific game times are TBD and once published can be found by going to TNYFL's Schedules page. Home games are played at Mundy Memorial Park and away games are played at one of 21 youth communites within Middle Tennessee. Those locations can be found by going to TNYFL's Field Locations page.
What is the Bear Bowl?
Bear Bowl is a post-season game that is hosted by MJYFC. This is played at Mundy Memorial Park the weekend immediately following the TNYFL championship. Any team that desires to participate in the Bear Bowl is welcome to attend. To reserve your spot, please email email@example.com.
How does the post season play decided?
Following the regular season, the post season playoff games begin. Playoffs are single elimination. For clarification on how standings are decided, please refer to Rule 7.00 of the TNYFL Play Rules and Procedures.
What is required to be a coach with MJYFC?
All coaches must submit to a complete background check through our registration website. Additionally, all coaches must complete the CDC Head's Up Training - Concussion in Youth Sports.
